Josh has access to three different manifestations that indicates his desire to control the playing field. His Boneyard is currently able to multiply it's size by 100 yards depending on the level of success of it's activation. He also has access to the Marionette manifestation, which allows him to exert control over emotions (Passion Key), any available Anachrotech (Industrial Key), or his own geist (Phantasmal Key) to use at will. His current battle record shows that he favors the first two more than the third. The final manifestation that Joshua has access to is one that is passive by nature. To date, the Oracle has not yet been utilized in combat.

Records on Sin-Eaters show that often, this particular supernatural class shows that at least one of the two keys immediately available upon awakening is tied to their Death Threshold. In the case of Joshua, who is one of the Stricken, this key is the Phantasmal Key. Said Key allows the Sin-Eaters who have access to them the ability to see past or shape illusions. With the Boneyard, Joshua is able to perceive things which are hidden and/or invisible. With the Marionette, he is able to "hand over" control to his geist, allowing said geist (See: Davis, Jonathan) to utilize Joshua's skills at will. To date, there is very little information on how Davis performs in combat with the use of this ability. Finally, when used to unlock the Oracle, this key allows the Sin-Eater to perceive past illusions and lies -- both of the supernatural and the mundane, as well as to trigger upon themselves powerful hallucinations that may be prophetic. Joshua's Oracle does not seem to be at that level of power.
Footnote: Records state that those of the Bound who use this Key frequently are themselves given to odd hallucinations. So far Joshua does not seem to display any of the usual signs to indicate such.
The second key at Joshua's disposal is the Passion Key. Records holds that other notable Sin-Eaters of the Vigil who have access to this same key are the Searing Wind's Malia Saab and late (and recently returned) Searing Wind member, Makoto Kuzunoha; both of which have close associations with the War Hound's Blade Leader. With this Key, the Sin-Eater is granted the ability to shape the emotional responses of other people and/or to instill emotional resonances within places or things.
Joshua's most recent combat assessment shows that in the event that he cannot utilize his favored key (see below, Industrial) he utilizes the Passion Key to either wash the area of effect contained by his Boneyard with a choice emotion (See: Engagement, Quiapo Station, notes provided by Inquisitor Montelibano-Profaci) or to unlock his Marionette in order to alter the emotional state of a given target (See: Engagement, New York, refer to ZIZ debriefing of Todd, Jason). Further data is needed to assess the use of this key with the Oracle manifestation.
Footnote: Records state that the use of this Key can alter the Sin-Eater's own emotions, though to a much lesser degree, as something of a side effect.
Information supplied by the Seer of the Searing Wind and Malice King Alistair Mordechai shows Joshua Lee Brennan as the son of former Taskforce Valkyrie operative, Angela Brennan (Codename: Angel, Subject: Project Bladerunner). Joshua's proficiency with the Industrial Key reflects the high possibility that the Sin-Eater could have awakened as a Technomancer had circumstances not led to his death in 2056. The Industrial Key grants influence over the trappings of modern society, with the exceptions of current technology and that of Magience. With this key, Manifestation effects allow a Sin-Eater to control machinery and is assessed to be of great use within an urban setting or with crafted items categorized as Anachrotech. There are no notable major engagements on record that cite Joshua fully utilizing this key in tandem with his current manifestations.
